Liang Yi School of Tai Ji Quan & Qi Gong

Tai Chi & Qi Gong combine intense mental focus with deliberate, graceful movements that improve strength, agility and  balance.

In many ways, researchers are just catching up to what tens of millions of people in China already know about Tai Chi & Qi Gong. They can help you to increase your health, strength and well being.

Today Tai Chi and Qi Gong are practised all over the world, by men and women alike, as a spiritual (not religious) discipline, for health benefits and self defence.

Both the physiological and psychological benefits of regular practice are well documented and studied as a means to personal stress management and whole person well-being.

Both systems are easy to learn and to implement into life, even with all of the demands of modern day living.

Qi Gong..........Moving Meditation

Qi Gong (pronounced Chee Gong) is an ancient art that promotes relaxation and health.
It is often presented in a mystical, philosophical way that simply complicates what Qi Gong is all about and in turn, the benefits elude many who have spent years learning and participating in Qi Gong.

The sessions that we provide always present everything that we do in a straight forward way that everyone can understand. We take the profound concepts and translate them into readily available information that everyone can understand, accept and utilise. We make it tangible.

There are two key benefits of Qi Gong:

The gentle movements are a fantastic way to maintain and increase joint help and to keep the body moving

Secondly, Qi gong provides a method to take time out from your everyday problems and to help empty your mind. From this point you can stop your negative self-talk.

Gentle breathing, gentle movements and gentle thoughts.
